The
Cyprus Institute of Energy (CIE) was established in the year 2000 by the
Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
The Institute is administered by a five member council, which are appointed by
the Council of Ministers.
CIE is located at the premises of the Ministry
of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. It receives grants mainly from the
government and other semi-governmental and international organizations.
